Danielle “Dee Dee” Willard, 21, was shot and killed by West Valley City Police (Utah) November 2, 2012. Danielle had a 19-year-old sister and a 14-year-old brother and many friends.
Police have not been forthcoming with details about the shooting as formal reports have yet to be completed and police have not been open with Danielle’s family and loved ones. Suspicions of police misconduct immediately arose when police failed to make any allegations against Danielle or explanations for why she was killed. There is still very little known about her death.
Please join our effort to demand Justice for Danielle.

Really, she is gorgeous, I hate cops, half of them don’t give a shit about the well being of the people they just care about their own self, I hope they all burn!!!
West Valley Cops are a Gang! They are friendly or concerned for the citizens of West Valley, They treat everyone like a criminal! You are guilty until YOU prove yourself innocent. Look at the woman whom they felt committed a hit and run by Granger High School. She stopped to render aid, and they almost ruined her life. She did their job to prove her innocence. Look at the young man sleeping in his car at the 7-11. He found a safe place to rest rather than be a danger on the streets. And West Valley Police shot him numerous times. “Dead” all because he was reaching for his wallet. What about the others. Shot and killed for walking out their door with a coffee cup, one killed as he approached an un-marked car at night. He was carrying a phone calling the Police and they shot and killed him… And yes, they all got off… Now you tell me the difference between the Gang Banger on the street, and the West Valley Police Dept. one thing, they can legally murder! And Sgt Powell talks on the news, and you can see the arrogance. This Dept needs to be cleaned up starting at the TOP! The West Valley Police Dept was at one time community oriented. That was when Dennis Nordfelt was at the top. They act like they own every 7-11 they go into to get a FREE cup of coffee! I have no respect for them, and I certainly don’t trust them. And as for this young woman, they will get off… That’s why their taking so long. Trying to find a way to get off, why didn’t they put this much time investigating the hit and run. Another young woman, Sgt Mike Powell stated on aire, “we didn’t investigate it further, because we were HAPPY that we had the right individual.” Sorry Danielle, you were murdered by the West Valley Thug Dept. And they will find a reason to ruin your name, even in death!
Why on earth are the family still in the dark on what happened when it was the police department responsible for shooting her. I could understand if the killer was some unknown gunman still on the loose but it wasn’t. Don’t the police have to communicate at all times before,during and after an undercover operation epecially when an innocent victim is killed by the officer?? What a shame for the family to go so long without any answers.
I agree this is getting old.I am her mother and I spend all day and most nights looking for information. I cant eat and I dont sleep very well. I am pretty sure I will go crazy if I dont hear something soon.
Perhaps you can go to a higher level to get some answers?

The good news is that these are evergreen for any Lent, Passiontide, and Paschal Octave. Cue em up every year. Do this at Advent and the Christmas Octave, too, if you have the time.I never learned so much about the station churches of Rome, and I bet I’m not the only one. I remember as a kid stumbling across these weird station churches listed in my grandmother’s late 1950s St. Joseph’s hand missal. No one knew what it was, nor did anyone care in the 1980s.Our patrimony is getting reclaimed, brick by brick. And it’s getting reclaimed using the tools of the new evangelization, just as the Second Vatican Council and Blessed Pope John Paul II envisioned.
Typical police behavior. Nothing wrong, move along, nothing to see. Just shut the hell up. My question is: if you did nothing wrong, what are you hiding. They tell us that all the time, its time they apply their logic to themselves.
Cops these days are way too aggressive. Paramilitary mentality: shoot first, ask questions later.
Don’t call a cop for help eiither, you will be shot, tased, or taken to jail.
Danielle didn’t just have her civil rights violated – they were terminated with prejudice. Where was her protection from what appears to be a criminal hiding behind a badge and a gun?

This story goes out to a 21 y/o female from Idaho. It’s about how a man impersonating a police officer out in West Valley somehow snuck past the good name otherwise bestowed on the honor and service of our Police Force. In the rest of the country – UTAH – police are hunting down those who are killing 21 year olds.
This isn’t just a tuned-up sharticle on bad boys acting all gangsterish and – hiding behind a badge, a gun and behaving even worse than those on drugs themselves – WTF with this failure? maybe she got shot because she was forced to give one of the officers a BJ in the parking lot and tried to get away?
Protect? Obey? Serve? Evidently not this guy’s ethos. Maybe the FBI wants to call it like everyone else sees it – a criminal with a badge, a gun and a failed psyche eval overlooking a spate of civilian killings like some Kony-false-hero bullshit! What do drugs have to do with that County prosecutor? What’s that 21 y/o little girls name anyway? You gotta know that 100 lb scary little waif of a ‘druggie’ girl is looking down on Stewart now – thinking if 100 lb. Danielle Willard was in Mathew Stewart’s place – they’d have put 20 rounds into her head.
Did the people of Utah ever wonder why it was Utah’s POST school that created these goddamned monsters in our midst; the city and country and state doesn’t so much as have the decency or common sense to be half the hero Mathew Stewart is becoming in light of these types of trashy B-movie killings.
A critical examination of recent ‘thrill-kill’s in Utah. Oh Jesus Christ that list is long. Let’s leave JC’s name out of it because those doing this killing must be forced to find other employment – maybe in Iraq or Afghanistan killing women and children – so at least in the military – they will be given discipline and discharged as unfit for duty – something city should post haste comprehend.
What needs a serious make over is the POST process selecting officers. The state can find nut cakes who’ll shoot out the eyes in their own shadows – and small girls. Why can’t POST curb this ‘Syrian Army Officers gone wild’? Why can’t POST do a better job than what we’ve witnessed this last year. Next time, let’s just wrap the victim in a bunny suit and rub some bacon on it before one of the cities unleashes a roving gang of criminals with a gun and a badge to put two slugs in its head? More pathetic is any city official considering giving these trigger happy police imposters back a gun or a badge.
It truly brings shame onto the exceptional body of law enforcement and the service of the other 99% of the state’s police.

One shot on the bottom of the left side of the chin and the fatal shot on tip of the head just a few inches away on the top of the head. HHHHHHMMMMM. What would be the chances.
I just hope that Danielle’s Death is not in vain and that we can all take up together as a community and take care of the officiers that did not “protect and service” Danielle.
law enforcement in this country has become the new face of terrorism. i truly hope that the prosecutors, judge, and jury in west valley have the decency to hold the killers accountable for their actions. there is no excuse for this.

I love that first video first discovered it a few weeks ago when I peppod over to the next office to see what was making our parochial vicar laugh so hard. I could stay with him. Since I left I was disowned by my dad beucase I wasn’t into religion as he is and for a couple other reasons that aren’t really necessary, but I had a terrible childhood with him anyways. My mom; out of the picture. Things started going terrible with my uncle, tried to get me into hard drugs as he was, as well as something else and I ended up leaving their immediately and since then I was on the streets and I pretty much just gave up.I know that’s a pretty sad excuse..It was for about a month and almost 3 weeks. I was walking off the skytrain and this guy walked by me and looked at me funny and it was definitely hard to miss..I didn’t think much of it, but then about 20 seconds later he walked back and said he’s seen me around a few times and asked if I wanted to go get something to eat with him and I said sure. We went to subway and he got me something and we started talking and he immediately asked me what happened? as he knew I was homeless I guess and I explained to him. We talked a lot and he asked me If I was Romanian..Its in my background so he was right and I asked why and he said you just look it as I am too, but we both don’t speak it.Basically we went around and talked for a few hours after eating and he was really interesting and he seemed REALLY interested in me which I thought was extremely strange, he looked wealthy and extremely physically attractive. He brought me to his apartment and before I went in I asked if he was a pimp beucase I’ve been approached a couple other times and completely avoided it, and he laughed and said no I’m not and pulled out his ID and it showed he was 17, so he was almost 5 years younger then me, I thought he was AT LEAST 25, absolutely no way I thought he could have been 17 by the way he was developed and how he carried himself ..We went in and he lived alone, nicely set up but of course not a new apartment but it was still nice, and he said you can stay here, its safer for you then being outside, and I didn’t really know what to say and he insisted saying its really okay..I just of course felt a little bad but I said okay. He trusted me completely, set up blankets on the couch for me to sleep and said you can stay here as long as you want. I asked him why are you doing this for me and he told me I just see something special in you ..I’ve been here for 12 days now, he insisted buying me clothes and some stuff I needed, he even went out with me to help me find a job, and I start working on Saturday..Everyday he takes me out and we go eat and spend all his free time with me, he even got my a gym pass and he takes me to the gym every night and we go swimming after..I’m 5’3 about 105lbs but I’d like to gain a bit of muscle so he shows me a lot which is really cool.. we talk about everything and I asked why he is living alone and he explained he had a bad and abusive childhood and has been on his own since 15, his older brother is in jail for murdering his mother and his dad is dead too, and that he has NO family. He works from 9 to 4, he works for the city and told me he met someone who was a senior who is a manager for the city or something and hired him beucase of his situation, and he literally works his butt off to keep it beucase of the pay and the benefits, and after we go right to the gym to work out, and then when we get back he does a bit of schooling online for a couple hours that he lets me help him with a bit too.Even though I’ve known him for 12 days or so, we just get a long so well and I didn’t expect anything like this to ever happen. I’m just confused in a way why he’s interested in me, not trying to brag or anything but I can see him being with some high maintnence blonde barbie doll girl with fake breasts or any girl he wants really :S I have shorter brown hair and Ive never even been one to wear makeup I just dont like to.. he’s such a hard working person and responsible for his age, doesn’t seem to have many friends though but he says he has a couple close ones but thats about it..Is he interested in me in a relationship way? I just don’t know..He always looks in my eyes when he talks to me though, so I guess that can be a hint..We watch movies at night but we don’t cuddle or anything and I’d really like to honestly but we do sit close, how can I bring it up, or if I just rested my head on his shoulder, would it be a bad idea? I still sleep on the couch, how would he react if I went into his room at night and asked if I could sleep with him just so we can cuddle or give affection? I don’t want him to think the wrongidea, beucase I’m NOT that kind of girl we both had bad childhoods and we can relate a lot about lots of things, we both dont do drugs either and about the age, it doesnt matter to me at all..We’re in Canada as well so nothing is illegal. I’m just wondering if he is looking for a relationship or not, and if it would be a good idea if I made a move as in asking to cuddle or anything like that, I just don’t want things to get awkward but honestly I know he’s really comfortable with me and I’m comfortable with him as well as we talk just about everything together, there isn’t anything we’re not comfortable talking about and we joke around a lot as well. He explained that I can live with him for as long as you want and never to be afraid of asking for anything beucase he’ll help me no matter what and that he knows how it feels to be homeless and how hard it can be. For example he works lots and then at the gym real hard afterwards and I can tell he’sreally exhausted when we get home..what if I offered to give him a massage oranything like that? I just want to know if it would be a good idea or not to ask him if he would like me to give him any affection at all, beucase I know he’s never really receieved any when he was younger..as I didn’t really eitherand oh for example when we go swimming we play around and stuff and we’ve touched eachother’s body but not sexually of course, but in the pool..and for the last 4 days or so we sit on the couch together oppose to sitting on opposite couches little things like that.I also told him when I start working I’m going to be helping with rent and utilities, I could honestly say we trust each other 100% even if it’s that fast..And he accepted that I will help pay and he is fine with that.
To Danielle’s mother: Please stop asking/pleading for information. Get yourself busy by hiring a civil attorney and sue the police. You have a very short window of time to do so. The attorney will get all the records and recordings of the incident.

This whole situation can be a good lesson and orientation regarding the great ACLU . . . for all the naive people out there who think they’re really about defending and protecting civil rights, civil liberties, freedom, and justice. Every day it becomes more obvious that their primary agenda is just opposing anything or anyone with values and pushing the liberal agenda of socialism and communism. With a case like this, with 2 months gone by with no apparent answers or explanations–you’d think they’d be all over this. These kinds of situations do a lot to reveal the true nature of people and organizations.

The ACLU fails becasue it only protects gays and fringe politics. what is revealed here is a larger failure within law enforcement – a failure with Sim Gill at SLCO and a failure with our AG’s office.
Yeah, and again, a failure of the ACLU and all other organizations which CLAIM to fight for the rights of the average citizen. Here we have a failure of WVCPD, WVC mayor, WVC council, WVC taxpayers, SL Dist. Atty., SL County council, local media to some extent, state government to an extent, etc., etc. We should ALL be demanding an explanation and complete answers regarding this fiasco.
Hi all,I am glad i came across this site. I just found this pcuodrt online the other day and am highly interested in giving it a shot. Ive been looking into gastric bypass but as it is so pricey i thought i would give this a shot first. The biggest worry i have from this is that there are little to no results. Hi everyone! I love this blog but need more awsners. Has anyone completed the $500 worth of product? Were you able to do it without Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers? Were there any other side effects besides headaches from not drinking enough water? I always hear about the 1st month or 2 results. If so many people are using this product what are the end results after completing the $500 worth of product they send to you? Has anyone completed it & have you renewed it since? Germany, Russia, and many other countries and societies THOUGHT they had real advanced and civilized situations until people like Hitler and Stalin took over, took all the guns away from the “civilians,” and then exercised total control by the state. The U. S. is devolving in the same direction. Now all the liberals in Washington want to take all the weapons from the populace, because of some nut in Connecticut. They’ve found another excuse to try to remove another right. I’ve spent nearly 1/3 of a century working with and for all levels of government, and I can tell you government is not about accountability–it’s about politics. Government’s tendency is to take rights and resources with nothing to offer in return, and continue to grow in size and power unless it is stopped by people who actually care. A case like this shows how far down that road we’ve gone as a nation and a society.

When is the next protest in West Valley City? I think one should be planned every month, at least, until they give us some answers.
I’m sure someone out there does know something… However they don’t want to end up like Danielle… Maybe the West Valley Police could hire the Ogden City Task Force to help investigate? Wait, we all know how that turn’s out… They go into anyone’s house. Scare the bejesus out of innocent men women and children. And if they get shot, and perhap’s killed, they charge innocent victim’s for protecting themselve’s. Sound familiar! And we think that the Police are “Hero’s” HELL NO! They are not even on the same level as Firefighter’s, Soldier’s, Paramedic’s they are the REAL HERO’S! The Police nowaday’s drive around like they are above the law. If zeal returns in our Catholic wohirsp, zeal will return in evangelizing. I have friends who were Protestant missionaries in the tropics; they now live in a small Appalachian town. They investigated Catholicism and were about to sign up for RCIA when they were sent a new priest. Without warning, when he first became pastor, he inflicted a rock band on the people at Mass. My friends ran the other way and never looked back. They have returned to Protestantism, where they are doing much good. Here’s an example of people with plenty of zeal for evangelism and works of charity, who were driven away by a Catholic clergyman. Let’s reform the clergy and how they celebrate Mass before we even think about evangelizing. In the meantime, I’m working on reforming myself.
Okay, here it is MID-FEBRUARY already–and still no answers! And I’ll say it again: Where in the world is the great ACLU, which bills itself as a great defender of rights? Could it be that they’re all caught up with just fund raising and pushing the liberal agenda in the political arena. Go ahead and try to contact them–and good luck! They’ll be more than happy to take your money, but unless you’re an illegal alien or someone else on the fringe, forget it. Even if you COULD actually talk to them, they’ll just shrug their shoulders, pull out a couple of excuses, and probably tell you (or anyone) to get your own private attorney. The phrase “worse than worthless” readily comes to mind.
I fell off a stepladder at work and superficially injured *myself* and within 20 minutes I was taken to a walk-in clinic for drug testing. The results were negative, no illegal drug metabolites found in my system. (I had previously tested negative in a routine test about 2 weeks earlier and I have never tested positive for illegal drugs)
So, I think this story about the Boston Police Department is really fascinating! The officers that tested positive knew one year in advancer that they would be tested. You might say they had ten years prior warning because the City of Boston had expressed their intention of testing in the late 1980′s

Of course, the way someone responds to this article can be influenced by whether or not they are using illict or controlled substances. If someone is critical of police conduct but, for example, smokes pot, then they may be reluctant to draw attention to the issue of police drug use and any need for drug screening.

Just heard the news tonight. Great news! We new that these West Valley Cops were hiding the truth. They were guilty of MURDER! It makes me sick that the guilty bastard is on “Paid Administrative Leave” while a young beautiful girl is buried. And he put her there! The whole West Valley Police Dept needs to be cleaned starting from the top. They are all dirty. Why do you think the Police Chief retired. He knew what was coming. He should be brought up on charges as well. The West Valley Police Dept is nothing more than a bunch of low life criminals with badges. Getting away with MURDER!!! I hope our useless Mayor steps up to the plate and gets some balls and fires them all!
