The pursuit of justice for Danielle’s death has been time-consuming, difficult and expensive. These costs will continue. Danielle’s family works and lives far from West Valley City, Utah, where Danielle was killed by police. However, seeking justice for Danielle has to be focused there.  There are no free attorneys to help crimes victims and the families pursue justice. Victims of police violence also do not enjoy a friendly alliance with police and the District Attorney’s office like other victims do.
